The LFE3-70EA-7LFN672C is a low-power, low-cost, low-footprint FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip designed by Lattice Semiconductor. It is based on the LatticeECP3 family of FPGAs and is optimized for applications that require both low power and low cost.


The LFE3-70EA-7LFN672C chip has a 1.2V power supply and a total of 70K logic cells, each with four dedicated inputs, four dedicated outputs and four dedicated flip-flops. It also has a total of 1,728 I/O pins and a total of 144 DSP blocks, each with four dedicated multipliers and four dedicated accumulators. Other features include a dedicated configuration memory, a high-speed SERDES interface, an integrated phase-locked loop (PLL) and two independent clock domains.


The chip is suitable for a wide range of applications, including communications, industrial automation, consumer electronics, automotive, medical and aerospace. It can be used to implement complex logic functions, data processing, signal processing, and memory operations. It is also suitable for high-speed serial data transmission and reception, as well as for implementing high-speed, low-power communication protocols. Its low-power operation makes it suitable for battery-powered applications, while its low cost makes it an attractive option for cost-sensitive applications.
