The XC4VFX12-10FFG668I is a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) chip model developed by Xilinx Corporation. It is a part of the Virtex-4 family of FPGAs and is designed for high-performance applications. The chip is capable of delivering up to 1.2 million system gates, up to 12Mbits of embedded memory and up to 12 DSP slices. It has two-speed grade devices, with up to 8 user I/O banks, up to 664 user I/O pins, and up to 28 high-speed transceivers. The chip also has up to two PowerPC 405 processors, up to four system clocks, and up to four clock management tiles. It supports a wide range of applications, including network processing, storage and computing, high-speed serial connectivity, wireless communications, data acquisition and control, and video/imaging systems.


The XC4VFX12-10FFG668I chip has a maximum power dissipation of 13.3W, a maximum operating temperature of 85°C and a maximum junction temperature of 125°C.
