The EK-U1-ZCU216-ES1-G is a System-on-Chip (SoC) model developed by Xilinx, Inc. It is an All Programmable SoC that integrates a Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, a high-performance, quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 based processing system (PS) and an integrated FPGA fabric. The ZCU216-ES1-G model is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of applications, from high-performance embedded computing to video and vision applications.


The ZCU216-ES1-G is a powerful SoC that includes a Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC, an integrated FPGA fabric, and a range of peripherals and interfaces. The Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC is based on a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, with a 32-bit, dual-core ARM Cortex-R5 processor and a Mali-400 MP2 GPU. The integrated FPGA fabric provides up to 4 million logic cells and up to 576 DSP slices for high-performance signal processing.


The ZCU216-ES1-G also includes a range of high-speed memory interfaces, including DDR4 and LPDDR4, as well as a range of peripherals and interfaces, such as PCIe, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and HDMI. The ZCU216-ES1-G also includes an on-chip FMC connector, which allows users to expand the device’s capabilities with a range of FPGA mezzanine cards.


The ZCU216-ES1-G is suitable for a wide range of applications, including embedded computing, video and vision applications, automotive applications, industrial automation, and medical imaging. It is also suitable for a range of high-performance computing applications, such as machine learning, data analytics, and 5G communications.
