AX500-CQ208M Overview
The AX500-CQ208M is a model of a low-power, high-performance System-on-Chip (SoC) manufactured by Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (AMCC). It is designed for use in high-performance embedded applications such as communications, networking, and storage.
The AX500-CQ208M integrates a dual-core 64-bit Power Architecture processor core with a floating-point unit and a vector processing unit, as well as an on-chip memory controller. It features a high-speed, low-power DDR3 memory interface, a large internal SRAM, and an integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet MAC. The processor core is capable of operating at up to 1.5GHz, while the integrated memory controller supports data rates up to 800MHz.
The AX500-CQ208M also includes a range of peripheral interfaces, including USB 2.0, SATA, PCI Express, and I2C. It is also equipped with a range of security features, including secure boot and secure erase.
