APA300-FGG144 Overview



The APA300-FGG144 is a high-performance, low-power Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) chip from Xilinx. It is based on the Virtex-5 family of FPGAs and is designed for a wide range of applications, including embedded systems, communications, video and image processing, and industrial automation.


The APA300-FGG144 features a total of 144 user-programmable logic cells, each of which is made up of four logic slices, two flip-flops, and two multiplexers. It also has a total of 36 18-bit multipliers and two dedicated clock management tiles. With a total of 15,360 logic cells, the APA300-FGG144 offers a high-performance, low-power solution for a variety of applications.


The APA300-FGG144 is capable of operating at speeds up to 300 MHz and is designed to provide low-power operation at a maximum power consumption of 2W. It also features a range of on-chip debugging features, including a JTAG port, a trace port, and a dedicated debug logic unit.


The APA300-FGG144 is ideal for embedded systems applications, such as automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics, as well as communications, video and image processing, and industrial automation applications.
