A42MX09-PL84 Overview



The A42MX09-PL84 is a high-performance, low-power Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) chip from Lattice Semiconductor. It is designed for applications that require high speed, low power, and flexibility, such as industrial automation, consumer electronics, and communications.


The A42MX09-PL84 chip features an array of 84 logic cells, each with a dedicated 4-input Look-Up Table (LUT) that can be configured to implement any combination of logic functions. It also includes four dedicated 18-bit wide I/O channels, as well as one dedicated 18-bit wide I/O channel for the JTAG interface. The chip is capable of operating at up to 200 MHz and is capable of supporting up to 1,000,000 gates.


The A42MX09-PL84 chip is packaged in a small, low-profile, lead-free, RoHS compliant, surface-mount package. It is designed to be used with Lattice's optional ECP2M-90 and ECP2M-90L FPGA families. It is also compatible with third-party development tools, such as the Xilinx ISE Design Suite and the Altera Quartus II software.
