The A3PE3000-PQ208I is a low-power, high-performance, FPGA-based system-on-chip (SoC) designed for embedded applications. It is based on Altera’s Stratix III FPGA technology and is manufactured on a 65-nm process. This SoC is designed to provide a complete system-level solution for embedded applications with its combination of FPGA, embedded processor, and peripheral components.
The A3PE3000-PQ208I features a Stratix III EP3SE3000 FPGA with up to 300,000 logic elements and up to 8,000 embedded RAM blocks. It also features a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with up to 800 MHz clock speed, a dedicated DMA controller, and up to 32KB of instruction and data cache. The SoC also includes a wide range of peripherals such as a 10/100/1000 Ethernet MAC, USB 2.0 host and device controllers, and an audio CODEC.
The A3PE3000-PQ208I is suitable for a wide range of embedded applications including industrial automation, medical equipment, automotive, and consumer electronics. It offers a cost-effective and high-performance solution for embedded applications requiring low power consumption and high levels of integration. The device is available in a 208-pin PQFP package and supports a wide range of operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.
