LFEC6E-4TN144C Overview



The LFEC6E-4TN144C is a low-power, high-performance, multi-protocol Ethernet switch chip from Lattice Semiconductor. It is designed for applications such as Industrial Ethernet, Automotive Ethernet, and Industrial IoT.


The LFEC6E-4TN144C features four 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, a single Gigabit Ethernet port, and a single SGMII port. It is capable of supporting up to four independent Ethernet ports with full IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3ab/802.3x/802.3z standards. The chip also supports four independent IEEE 1588v2 precision time protocol (PTP) ports and one IEEE 1588v1 master port.


The chip is designed to operate with low power consumption and a wide operating temperature range, making it suitable for a variety of industrial and automotive applications. It is also compliant with the IEEE 802.1Q VLAN and IEEE 802.1D spanning tree protocol (STP) standards.


The chip is designed to be highly reliable, with advanced error detection and correction capabilities. It also supports advanced diagnostic features such as link status monitoring, loopback testing, and packet error rate (PER) testing.
