PolarFire®
Microchip's PolarFire® family of chips is a low-power, high-reliability FPGA chip. It adopts a 22nm FD-SOI process, which can provide solutions with high performance, high integration, and low power consumption.
Microchip's PolarFire® chips are available in a variety of models, including PolarFire® V, PolarFire® SoC, and PolarFire® FPGA series, among which the PolarFire® V series provides up to 500K logic units, and also integrates high-speed transceivers to support Gigabit Ethernet, High-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen2 and SDI.
The PolarFire® SoC series further integrates 64-bit RISC-V processors and DSPs to provide stronger computing capabilities and wider application fields.
Microchip's PolarFire® chip also uses Microchip's unique Radiation Tolerant technology, which can resist external environmental interference such as cosmic radiation, making it highly competitive in high-reliability applications such as aviation and aerospace.
